The YES Academy Kurdistan ran from July 10 to 19, 2009 and served more than 300 Iraqi youth in a national program touching lives from Baghdad and Basra to Erbil and Suleimaniya. There was a full program of Jazz, Hip Hop, Children's theater and classical music. The academy culminated in a fantastic gala concert at Peshawa Hall in Erbil featuring the YES String Orchestra, the YES Kids, Erbil's B-Boys, the Street Wolves and much more.
