Turkey Adana Festival

 In American Voices' first appearance in Adana, Turkey, vocalist Michael Parks Masterson and pianist John Ferguson presented a series of workshops at Cukurova University and a concert for the !3 Frames Festival in the Adana Municipal Theater. Despite the heightened tensions between the Turkey and the U.S. and Iraq over PKK incursions at the time, the Turkish audiences put international politics aside and gave American Voices a very warm welcome.
