Unity Academy Funding Appeal Reaps Results

Heartfelt thanks to those existing and new Friends of American Voices who donated to our May special appeal to fund the Unity Youth Performing Arts Academy in Iraq. Thanks to your generosity, we have raised over $5000 which will go to fund the purchase of music, dance and theater supplies for over 10 Iraqi arts education institutions in Mosul, Kirkuk, Basra, Baghdad, Erbil, Duhok and Suleimaniya. Our summer program in Iraq will find us working with 400 Iraqi youth and their teachers from July 6 to 27.
