Soloist and Ensemble Information

The Concert Suites from West Side Story are arranged for six soloists, ensembles, and Broadway Pit Orchestra.
American Voices offers experts from the United States for a week long project that features the following elements:
Advance preparation by the students before the arrival of American Voices
Five to Six days of rehearsals
Gala performance of the two Concert Suites from West Side Story
In addition, American Voices can assist in ordering and sending the Piano/Vocal score and orchestral materials in advance as well as sending video/DVD recordings for study
Cast Needed:
Soloists: 
Maria – Soprano
Tony – Tenor
Anita – Alto (or Mezzo-Soprano)
Rosalia - Mezzo-Soprano
Riff – Baritone
Bernardo - Baritone/Tenor

Ensembles:
Three Girls - for I Feel Pretty
The Jets –at least 6 male voices (any voice range)
The Sharks – at least 6 male voices (any range).
The Girls – at least 9 Female Voices needed equally divided between Sopranos, Mezzos and Altos
