Brian Jones and Hip Hop Dance:
Classically trained in ballet, this award winning gymnast and acclaimed choreographer fuses the fluidity and grace of ballet with the strength and dynamics of gymnastics to create his own take on hip-hop. With this fresh look on urban dance, he has spent the last six years dancing and teaching everywhere from high-school movement workshops to choreographing for Graham Brother’s Entertainment. In 2008, he taught in the American Voices’ Hip Hop Dance Tour of Tokyo, Fukuoka, Sapporo and Okinawa. While on tour, he also taught at the Beijing School of Music and Dance, Beijing Academy of Dance and Beijing Sport's University. In 2009, he was guest faculty at the YES Academy Lebanon in the Hip Hop and Broadway programs.
