To provide capacity-building programs in the performing arts and education in nations emerging from conflict or isolation, to create opportunities and broaden horizons for youth.

Objectives
Throughout all endeavors of American Voices, there are some overall goals that we follow:
• To reach areas of the world emerging from isolation or conflict through
cultural engagement and
diplomacy
• To increase mutual understanding through cultural engagement both abroad
and in the US
• To represent the cultural diversity of the American Experience
• To promote young American performing artists through international
performances; and to promote
visiting artists in performance in the US
• To provide American cultural programming, advice and planning assistance
of the highest quality
